My oldest sister passed away last Friday at the too young age of 50. Between family, friends and coworkers, we expect a lot of people to come to the memorial service and wake-- she was quite a character who people really loved. The arrangements and grieving will keep me occupied for a while. When I get back, be sure to fill me in on all the comic dramas I missed!

Aw, sorry to hear that. My sympathies.
Like everyone else has said, you have all my sympathy. Just based on knowing you I can only imagine that any member of your family would be a cool and interesting person, and what a loss it must be for everyone who knew her.
RedHead, I am so sorry for your loss. Sending you and your family the very best wishes.
I'm really sorry for your loss.
My condolences
I am truly sorry to hear this. I have learned this from reading my blogmate's website "ShoreTurtle". I, too, lost my brother a few years ago to melanoma. He was only 42 years old. I know how difficult it is to lose a family member. Again, I am sorry for your loss.
Condolences from all of us.
We would like to hear more about your sister, if you would care to share.
Sorry for your loss
Oh God, I'm so sorry to hear that. I could use a hug myself, one of my cats just passed away. I know it's probably not the same, but I got a hug waiting for you all the same. :)
I'm so sorry, RF. You'll be in my prayers.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. We'll keep in your family in our thoughts and prayers.
I'm so sorry and saddened to hear this. I remember your sister, always cheerful and happy with a big smile and full of laughter. So much fun to be around at Jim & Mare's annual summer party. That's the way I will always remember her.
