Filthy Rich by Brian Azzarello (already a hard crime favorite for the 100 bullets series), art by Victor Santos
All the standard crime noir elements are there: down on his luck ex jock "junk" junkin, dissatisfied being a NJ car salesman (and lousy at it)-- takes a job bodyguarding the owners very sexy, wild, and rich daughter Victoria.
The interior art is all black and white; a change when you are used to full color glossy comics. But if any format can work in black/white, it's crime.
This is one of the first two graphic novels from the Vertigo Crime imprint.
Labels: graphic novels
1 Comments:
I like this format for libraries: it'd be easy to shelve these in the crime fiction section as easily as ghettoizing it with the graphic novels.
And hey! Long time no blog!
